Latin is not translated: it is accompanied
Latin is the technical language of this institution. Leaving it on its own excludes those who do not know it; translating it loses the term. The term is given together with its equivalent alongside it, in parentheses.

A terminology, not that of the day
Without an institutional glossary, each translation makes its own decisions and the result drifts: the same word appears in three different forms within the same course. The glossary is included in every request and eliminates this drift at its root.
Without softening
Catholic content is translated as written, without softening or euphemizing it. When confronted with religious subject matter, a model tends to soften it on its own, which would misrepresent what the university teaches without anyone having decided to do so. Chinese is Mandarin in Simplified Chinese script; English is American English.
